PAR celebrates 100 years of Code of Ethics with video contest

Code100Logo2013 marks the 100th year members of the National Association of Realtors® have subscribed to a strict Code of Ethics.  To commemorate the centennial of the Code of Ethics, PAR has launched a video contest for its members to share what the Code means to them.

To enter the contest, eligible participants should create and submit an entertaining and informative video celebrating the anniversary and describe their meaning or importance of the Code. See PAR’s website for specific information regarding eligibility, acceptable content, judging and prizes.

Three entries will be selected to win an Apple iPad or a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, and be featured at the PAR Spring Business Meetings in June. In addition to these prizes, a cash award of $250 will be given to the local Realtor® association(s) in which each of the three winners holds primary membership.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Read the official rules on PAR’s website.
  2. Fill out the entry form to upload your video (You must be logged in as a PAR member). Don’t know your login? Call the PAR Solutions Center at 800-555-3390.
  3. The deadline to enter the contest is May 17, 2013.
  4. Winners will be notified in person, by phone, mail, or e-mail.

Let’s plan to spend this year celebrating Realtors’® dedication to honor, integrity and service, and reminding the buying and selling public how Realtors® strive for professionalism every day. I can’t wait to see your entries. Good luck and have fun!
