Have you met your online friends in real life?

Thanks to social networking, I had the opportunity to meet several online friends last week at Triple Play.

As I worked the registration desk or as the CE monitor for Amy Chorew’s class, PAR members either recognized me from Facebook or as @PAR_Meg on Twitter. I had the chance to meet Bill Lublin, John Lauber, Kim Wood, Stefanie Hahn and Lynn Wilklow, to name a few.

Without social networking, I probably would have never met these members, let alone known anything about them outside of their involvement with PAR.
