“The future is looking brighter than it did six months ago,” according to Dr. Austin Jaffe, PAR’s consulting economist. In the last quarter, sales in Pennsylvania rose 11.8 percent but the median home sale price is still declining. Jaffe says that the latest economic figures, especially the declining median home sale price, indicate that Pennsylvania is beginning to catch up to other states in the country.
