The Greater Philadelphia Association of REALTORS® (GPAR) received a $3,500 grant from the National Association of REALTORS® for a joint diversity initiative at the Triple Play REALTORS® Convention in Atlantic City.

GPAR is teaming up with local chapters of the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA), the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) and National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB) to co-sponsor a booth and reception at Triple Play, Dec. 8-10.

According to Stephanie Brown, vice chair of GPAR’s Multicultural Diversity Task Force, the four chapters will co-sponsor a booth (#902) in the Triple Play trade show. In addition, a reception will be held at 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 9 in the Gatsby Room at the Hilton Hotel. Any REALTORS® interested in diversity are invited.

This is the second joint multicultural networking event sponsored by the four associations.

Kudos to GPAR’s Cultural Diversity Committee for such an accomplishment. This has been a long time coming. Our local Chapter of NAREB the Philadelphia Metropolitan Board of Realtist will be participating.
