REALTORS® should not use Twitter to list properties but can use the social media site for research and networking.

“Twitter is great for interacting with people in your community; it’s about meeting people, getting to know them and having conversations,” said Inman News columnist and technology speaker Teresa Boardman.

Boardman, a St. Paul REALTOR®, said REALTORS® can use Twitter to garner information about new real estate trends and information. “Interact with people on a common topic it doesn’t have to be about business,” Boardman added.

Teresa’s great. I just interviewed her for a blogging book I put together…
